Empril Offices
1 - This project explores the topography and the surround area to establish this building as a neighbourhood reference. The construction was developed in five floors, four of each to office services. The natural granite platform where it was built restrains the cave floor with only four places for car parking.

2 - The main entrance is through the south facade, where the reception of the building is located. The main concern for the meeting rooms was the natural light and the maximization of the working space, reducing the circulation area to the minimal.

4 - These metal shadings try to break the homogeneity of the building, giving one sense of moving to the façade and helping control the natural light in the building.
Afurada Fisherman’s Huts
5 - As part of the POLIS Master Plan, this project was developed to promote and develop this specific fishing area. The main program was to attribute to each fisherman better conditions for his activity, and to standardize the area visually.

6 - The fishing tackle houses were divided into five groups, and the zone was organized for future expansion. With an area of almost 2100 m2 and 300 m long on the river shore, this is a privileged spot to the Porto scenery.

7 - Each block produces high visibility of the steel structure, looking like the boxes of wood and polycarbonate were placed as drawers. The apparent simplicity of this structure was determined by the material choice and the texture nuance of the boxes, combining two materials: wood and polycarbonate.

8 - This skin never shows a pattern, contrary to the formal repetition of the volumes. The flat roof, because of its visibility, was seen as a "fifth" facade.
